FACER × U.S. Air Force: Own The Skies collection

Pilots — suit up! The Facer team is very excited to announce its first collection of watch faces in partnership with the U.S. Air Force.

The “Own The Skies” collection is a series of watch faces honoring legendary USAF aircrafts, available for all Samsung smartwatch users today, and coming to all smartwatch users on Facer on August 13th.

Without further ado, let’s have a look at the first 5 watch faces of the series.

F-16 Falcon

One of the most versatile aircraft in the USAF fleet, the F-16 Falcon is the mainstay of the Air Force aerial combat force. This watch face design utilizes the same versatility, giving you all the relevant information in an easy to read design.

B-2 Spirit

Instantly recognizable, the B-2 Spirit is the most technically advanced bomber ever made, changing the face of aeronautical design forever. This watch face design plays into the sleek, futuristic look of this USAF aircraft to create a unique addition to your wrist.

UH-60 Black Hawk

With nearly 50 years of service under its rotors, the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter is the USAF’s primary medium-lift utility transport and air assault aircraft. However, it is probably best known for its involvement in night missions. This watch face design pulls inspiration from the rotary elements of the aircraft, along with a special Night-Vision mode for those special operations.

B-52 Stratofortress

For decades, the B-52 Stratofortress was the U.S. Air Force’s primary strategic nuclear bomber, and one of the most recognizable aircraft in the world. This watch face design pulls inspiration directly from the huge amount of dials present in the B-52 cockpit, giving a mix of vintage aviation design and modern functionality.

A-10 Warthog

A favorite among the Armed Forces, the A-10 Thunderbolt (more commonly known as the “Warthog” for its aggressive look) is the U.S. Air Force’s primary low-altitude close air support aircraft. This watch face design pulls heavily from multiple design aspects of the aircraft. The twin engines straddle the center of the design, while hints from the cockpit have also been incorporated, including the unique hands design and yellow striped date window.
