This is a quick tutorial explaining how to embed a watch face like the one below in a news article, blog post, or anywhere on the web. The widget below is the embedded version of Zen Sushi by wutronic: https://www.facer.io/watchface/PIvGZ5HBUi
🍕 IMPORTANT NOTE: The steps below are only necessary on some platforms that do not integrate directly with Facer. On platforms like Medium and a number of others, pasting the url of your watch face is enough to have it be replaced by its embedded version.
Step 1: Select your watch face
Go to www.facer.io and find for the watch face you’d like to include:
Step 2: Generate the embed code
Click on the share button and copy the “embed” code:
Note that our Share button also includes the ability to download a gif of your watch face, copy its link, or share it with some of the most popular social networks.
Step 3: Paste it in your article/post /website
Paste that code in the HTML code for your website or publication:
Step 4: Enjoy!
The widget you embedded has a lot of functionalities including active/dim preview, turbo mode, and different watch skins. It even allows your readers to sync that watch face to their smartwatch with one tap on the blue Facer Sync button!
That’s it! It’s that easy!
If you are embedding or curating watch faces on your website, we’d love to hear about it! Send us a note at facer@little-labs.com
Have fun!
